COLLEEN T. RANEY Biography

Principal Colleen Raney began her design career in 1989 as Assistant Visual Technician, staging and window dressing for the Polo Ralph Lauren Corporation at their premiere flagship department store in the Ala Moana Hawaii's Center shopping complex in Honolulu, Hawaii.

A graduate of Marylhurst University, nestled just south of Portland, Oregon; Ms. Raney holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies with concentrations in Interior Design and Communications.  She also studied Interior Design at Chaminade University in Honolulu, Hawaii. She's been a member of the National Kitchen and Bath Association and has been active for several years with Dale Carnegie Training as a Graduate Assistant.

Her experiences throughout the Pacific Rim and the Pacific Northwest have provided a comprehensive view into the development, building, architectural and interior design industries. Specializing in luxury residential design, specifying, purchasing and project management; Ms. Raney brings an experienced skill set to each project and enjoys collaborating with other designers, architects and team members. She aspires to make each project unique and deliver on-time performance.

She has supported numerous auctions and fundraisers for the American Heart Association of Hawaii, RMHC of Seattle, Friends of the Children, Northwest Symphony Orchestra and has worked closely with The Junior League of Honolulu. She also facilitated the interior design and installation of updated guest room ensemble at the Ronald McDonald House (RMHC) Charities of Oregon and S.W. Washington East House and has been the chair of their Hearts & Hands auction.

Ms. Raney resides in Portland, Oregon with her husband Paul, an Estate Planning and Trademark attorney for Kell, Alterman & Runstein and their very active son.
